China adjusted its export policy, and the export tax rebate rate of photovoltaic products was reduced to 9%

China has announced a major adjustment to its export tax rebate policy, effective from December 1, affecting a number of industries, including photovoltaic products.

According to a joint statement released by the Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation, the export tax rebate rate for photovoltaic products, as well as batteries and some non-metallic mineral products, will be reduced from 13 percent to 9 percent.

The adjustment is part of a broader reform that also includes the elimination of export tax rebates on aluminum, copper and certain oils and fats.
