How does the swimming pool circulating pump work?

The swimming pool water enters the circulating water pump through the lowest point main drain at the bottom of the pool, and is pumped into the filtering sand tank by the water pump. Prior to this, the flocculating agent is applied to the water suction port of the water pump by the dosing device, and is uniformly mixed with the water by the pump impeller to facilitate the filtration treatment effect. Shall i need a float switch in the well ?
